I'll take the country life anyday.I've lived in the city or on the beach for 50+ years now it is time to go to the country.

Country for me Tay! I lived in cities for too many years. Granted i didn't have to go to far if i needed anything from the shops but i found it hard sleeping during the day (I worked night shifts) With all the noise outside and i lived for my holidays away ... in the countryside! There i could relax and sleep! So i decided enough was enough, upped and left and moved somewhere so remote ... I don't have neighbours part from cattle! The village doesn't have much when it comes to shopping but it's great to drive to the nearest town, get my shopping, enjoy lunch before going home to my peace and quiet! And when feeling really desperate for city life ... I take off to Dublin (I live in Ireland now) I shop as fast as i can because an hour of it is enough for me. i hate the noise, traffic, having to wait for ages at a til etc. Reason why i only go once every couple of months! That's all i can take!

No one looking over the fence to see just what you are doing. In the country you can enjoy the lack of people every were that you look. You can set out in the yard and get a sun tan in places that you would go to jail for in the city.

If you are referring to places to live, I prefer the suburbs.
Living in the country is beautiful, but too slow.
Living in the city is too expensive.
