I have just read book eleven, Knife of Dreams, and I found it plodding. To be perfectly honest, after book six, it just got complication upon complication for me. There is still more than enough magic to read on and buy the next damn book, but I really do not feel Jordan is still in the Light. Do you think we are stupid to fall for his money making scheme? Or is it just not possible to end the world in any meaningful way any shorter?

Unfortunately Book 11 is not the last nor does it look to be anything but one of the middle numbers. I also absolutely love his style, but I would like to tell him to stop at this point for this one series and start another. I mean he even wrote a prequel, for Heaven's sake!

I love the WoT series. I love the plots and mysteries and his style. I can hardly wait for the next book which is rumored to be in the neighborhood of 2000 pages and the last book of the series. He is a very talented author and the world of the Wheel of Time is very deep and complex. I mean each country has its own history and everything ties together. Personally I wish the series would never end. It is a great story and even though it is long it is an awesome page turner!

Read on and continue to walk in the Light.

A few years ago (back in 2004) I read an interview with Robert Jordan where he stated that he didn’t expect to finish the series in his lifetime. This was right after I read Crossroads at Twilight. That is when I decided to dump the series. It moves too slow, and it seems to me the Jordan is milking every dollar out of his readers.

It is too bad because the series started with such promise. I think that if I might pick up the last book if he ever completes the series. If, as he predicted, he dies (the man is not young) before he completes it, then I won’t bother.

I commend anyone who sticks with the series though...it is tough work.

Is book eleven the last book for wheel of time? I haven't read book eleven but when I finished reading book ten I was like "what the hell happend?" I mean, there's nothing much that happend in book ten. It was like a story that stopped in the middle on purpose. I still love Robert Jordan though... I can't help it.

May you find water and shade.
