i use some baking soda 1st just a little then pour any kind of vinegar ontop of that, and it will foam up then use a toliet plunger and plunge a few times and it should unclog. i do this for my tub also cause my hair sheds alot, and both my bathroom sink and my kitchen sink also. you might wan to run hot water down that drain afterwards and plung some more to make sure . if it dont work the 1st try try it again , believe me i have done this fore years, never have had to use some store bought stuff or a plummer. hope it helps!!

Although a plunger usually works you may have to remove the pop-up.....to do this there is a small nut on the back of the drain, underneath, towards the top with a rod coming out of it....remove the screw and the rod and pull the pop up out from the top of the sink....alot of times it is full of hair....remove the hair look down the drain and remove any hair in there......put the pop up back with the rod and nut and try running water.....if still clogged remove the trap and clean it out and replace....... if still clogged call a plumber to snake the drain line in the wall.....never use drano or liquid plumber for the harsh chemicals can damage pipes in the long run!

Bicarb and vinegar might work. If all else fails, either do it yourself, or get someone to disconnect the drain pipe and clean it that way. My Da often would take a bad one apart. He did this as a part of his work.
Also, it gives you a chance to check and see how good the pipes are. Some old one may be so bad that cleaning and plunging can make them rupture. Really! It once happened to me.

Plunger. Seriously, our shower tray was partially blocked for ages, drain cleaner didn't work as it didn't travel far enough down the pipe/ Bought a £2 plunger - problem sorted.

You could also just remove the trap, the S shaped pipe beneath the sink and clean it out. This is most likely the spot where it is blocked.

A plunger from a local hardware shop should do the trick and block the breather or overflow hole with a wet cloth whilst plunging.
If stubborn blockage use hot water from a kettle to soften the blockage.
hope this will help

My bathroom sink got blocked because I was always washing my hair in it, so underneath behind the sink theres a bit on the pipe you can undo, undo it and have a prod about in there see if you can find the blockage its probably hair.

A tablespoon of baking soda, followed by half a cup of vinegar will do it. Then rinse through with hot water after a couple of minutes. You might need to do it a couple of times to sort it out completely if it's blocked, otherwise doing it every so often will stop it getting blocked in the first place!
