I don't think this is a valid interpretation of the election results.

I think your analysis is not correct. There were a lot of Republicans bounced in Conservative areas like IN, NC, etc. There were a few that were bounced because of legit scandals. Sherwood in PA because he cheated on his wife. Also, Dems got a gift from the courts that gave them Delay's seat. People had to write in the Republicans name. This has always been a safe seat for Republicans. I also do not get the JD Hayworth situation.

I think that this was more against Republicans as a party and their inaction than anything else. Conservatives in OH took out DeWine. About 10% of Republicans voted for the highly liberal Brown. Chafee in RI also was taken out. Well, we will have liberals running the House for 2 years.

I will say that Dems won the House fair and square. Expect a fight from conservatives you have no idea is coming.

I am not sure where you get that. I do know that congress had a lower rating than the president. I also know some Americans don't understand certain issues, so they just go out and do what their told, instead of researching facts.

The Bush ego doesn't relate in those kinds of terms. Bush will believe he's right, regardless. He even said that if Laura was the only one who supported his views on the Iraqi war, he would not change his mind. Bush is a ego maniacal moron. -RKO-

Not surprising. It's partly because of Bush, and people like Haggert and Foley, that made Republican almost synonymous with Bush or with adultery. Sucks to be them.

I don't think so. Someone will have to spell it out for him and of course we can then count on a press conference as to why this really isn't true.
