I can only find gold, or black diopside. I am looking for the stunning green colour. Any advice would be great as it is for a birthday/christmas present.

I'd have to agree with Princess qvcuk.com has some stunning russian diopside pieces, and some reasonable price ones in silver. I love emeralds but have just discovered this amazing green stone....saving up for a ring as we speak!

e-Bay is loaded with Chrome diopside gems. Chrome diopside is green.

try gems tv or gemstv.com they have hundreds of gems at very reasonable prices.
