It's the Filipino traits that look hispanic, despite the fact that they are completely unrelated. (There is a European-Spanish influence in Filipino culture, but it has nothing to do with the Latin American traits which are typically darker in features). My husband is half Filipino, half German and people always assume he speaks Spanish. (He doesn't).
By the way, that combination of Filipino/European in women is referred to as the "Pilipina Beauty" which is how they refer to our daughter.

I suppose it varies quite a bit. My mother is Filipino and my father is Australian with English ancestors. My two sisters and I all look completely different, you wouldn't even think that we're related. But all of the half Filipino half Caucasian people that I know have brown hair, brown eyes, olive skin and almost shaped eyes. The height varies quite a bit though although the majority of Filipinos are quite short. As long as you're happy then it doesn't really matter though, does it? :)

No one looks hispanic because hispanic is not a race. Are you thinking strange that he looks like Latin American mestizos? That's no surprise that someone with indigenous/spanish blood will look like with someone with irish/filipino blood. Indigenous and asian people have lots of features in common.

Because when he talks he sounds like a girly man, but he can play a mean guitar, at least until the Black album when Metallica kinda wimped out (I blame that on Bob Rock)

The Philippines was colonized by the Spainiards a long time ago. So, in some instances... We have Spainish blood in our veins.
