Why is is that papers in the middle east and asia, write that we do not have the stomach to wage a war and finish it? They cite that "the USA has a 5th column that consists of an element that would not be allowed to thrive in an Islamic country.

Your right and I hate to say it osama dinladin was right when he said Americans don't have the heart to weather a long term war. Its a shame becuase the American people don't understand whats at stake.

I am sorry, why are we at war?

You know many people, Republican and Democrat believe this war is about oil money. I think even most intellegent Republicans will tell you, of course it is, geez we have a President and VP from the oil business, Rice had a oil tanker named after her, Bush Sr. ties with the Saudi oil empire and you just wonder why they call us ugly americans

Also, you know we put Saddam in power, he has Keys to the City of several American cities including Detroit, he used to be our best freind untill he would not cooperate with the Bush Sr administration. I love our country but these are the facts, do a little research. We are not so peachy clean

Who cares how they look at us.

I'm Republican, but if Iraq truly was about oil, as some say, I think we should have put the money into developing alternate energy instead. We need to make those people irrelevant to our foreign policy.

However, I don't think we should cut and run and leave Iraq in the lurch, and I can't regret Saddam.
