I dont know if round worms are the same as ring worm (they are visible under the skin), but no. Alot of volunteers working after Hurricane Katrina got a variety of parasites! Yuk! Me included. We were seriously sick! I believe they only are able to survive in the human body (or animal) and are eliminated thru using the bathroom (to put it gently) We all took natural herbal suplements to kill them off...and they flushed away - it was gross.
