BOWIE by a country mile,am i the only person bored with bo rap and all his other pompus claptrap,the show must go on ? well i for one glad it aint. bowie is in a different league.

Personally I'm a Bowie girl. I dunno why i just prefer his style and his voice.i like the gruffness if that makes sense. I like how his style has changed over the years and enjoy how he experiments with different ways of making music even if they may not be particulary normal and sometimes dont work. Queen always had that more bouncyness about them where as Bowie seemed to be darker ( not saying this is true in all cases i know Queen have done simular songs and vice versa Bowie does happy uppy songs). Plus his accent is good. I like queen aswell though and think they are very goood.

Tough one. I admire qualities in both, Think I'll side with Bowie. I think he has been more in tune with the ever changing trends not whereas Queen seemed to become a novelty act at times. Any man who can inspire so many trends over the years, create such a variety of sonic moods,weather the storms over his at times ambiguous sexuality. He is an icon for so many different reasons that I have to pick him.Sorry, queen fans, I did give this some serious consideration though if its any consolation.

Nice question. I'd go for Bowie. He just takes you out there to strange places. He's really an artist. Queen is amazing and solid but they are rather anthem oriented. If you were gonna take a long road trip which artist would you listen to? My money is on Bowie.
