2nd December in Japan
7th December in Australia
8th December UK it comes with Wii Sports and a controller
and finaly the 9th in spain

i would not assume the Wii to launch any in the previous than October, in all possibility in November, as you reported. even with the undeniable fact that, the stated $299 value originated in a descriptiong to a 7-11 contest that could bring about somebody prevailing a Wii. that is rather achieveable that 7-11 ramped up the fee somewhat to make prevailing the console look greater constructive (or merely merely might have guessed). Nintendo has already reported they desire to launch the Wii at "not greater" than $250.

Last I heard it was November 19, of course that could change to a later date. Game Stop was (probably still is) taking pre-release orders with that date as date for release. Included for that date is the "Zelda: Twilight Princess" game for the Wii; the game for GameCube got set back to December something.
