David Israel,
You are a Christian. I do know that you seem to have some psychological disorders and therefore may not be capable of hearing dissent. Nonetheless, I must tell you david that I think this evil and deceptive form of missionizing you are perpetrating is degrading Christianity and the good, normal christians who practice it.

. It is, by definition, impossible for it to be "jewish" to believe in jesus. "Jewish" is, by defintion, what jews have historically and contemporarily believe. Since in neither scenario do we find "believing in jesus", then we must clearly realize that belief in jesus is not something "jewish". You can call it "biblical" (and still be wrong), but certainly not "jewish".
. On the side, the subject of Isaiah 53 is promised a "long life" and "seed" (i.e. physical children). Clearly this isn't about jesus.
. And Isaiah 7 is clearly not messianic if you read the whole chapter. and "alma" doesn't mean virgin either. You'd know that if you spoke hebrew (I guess learning basic hebrew wasn't part of your "extensive jewish upbringing", huh?)
. On the side, Isaiah 9 can't be about jesus since, according to christianity, he's the "son" not the "father" (as the verse states). Nor did he have control of the government (to the contrary, the roman government killed him). And he certainly did not establish "endless peace".

oh, and lastly, I've decided that you truly epitomize everything I find intensely intellectually unsatisfying about christianity.

You are in the wrong section, the story of Sodom & Gommorrah has nothing to do with gays.
The towns were scheduled for destruction by a genocidal and fractious God for the general sinfulness of the inhabitants and for not showing hospitality to visiting travellers, the sins are listed in the Bible, homosexuality is not specifically mentioned.
The attempted rape of Lots two angels visitors by the towns rednecks came after the countdown had already started and wasn't decisive, it wasn't anything to do with homosexuality either, the rape of angels is not known to be a common same-sex activity, it is not same-sex, it isn't even same species.
Myths, what can you say about them?

The sins of Sodom according to Ezekiel was that of in-hospitality to strangers. And if you had read the bible you would have known that if their had been 10 people in the city of Sodom who loved the Lord that he would have spared the city.

Repentance is purely conceivable even as someone is familiar with what's sinful. in recent times of tolerance, politically the finest option, "God loves us all no count number what", something is going, people honestly do not recognize what's sinful in accordance to Bible criteria. people can't use their personal personal thoughts of what's sinful and what's not. If shall we, the international does not be contained in the pitiful structure that is in. yet there is one of those divergence of what's solid and what's undesirable, that many people do not imagine or experience something they're doing calls for repentance. SO, people favor to first study some fundamentals from the Bible. they have not been taught from infancy, as Timothy, to understand the basics. that is awesome the variety of people that can't encounter Genesis or Matthew in a reproduction of the Bible. Or those who do not recognize that Jonah is a e book of the Bible, or that Zedekiah isn't a e book of the Bible. it really is a huge CLUE that understanding of Bible criteria is lacking. What maximum individuals recognize is from observe-of-mouth which isn't strong. The Bible says in Hebrews 4:12 that the interest of God is what's "waiting to parent recommendations and intentions of the middle." someone desires to duplicate their repentance on God's observe. Then that is going to likely be repentance it really is known by the author as worth of existence. purely as you quoted above - "taking in understanding of the purely authentic God, and the single whom you despatched forth", Jesus Christ. understanding facilitates someone to be moved to REPENTANCE.

If you believe in God so strongly, then ask him to heal you of this unhealthy obsession that you have with respect to attacking gays. Or, maybe you could turn to Rev. Ted Haggard for spiritual, PERSONAL advice.

According to the Torah, yes!!
You have to remember that the text of the Torah was written after the events and normally written to explain the past. Had the end been different it is very possible that the story would have been one of repentence.
If you look at many of the stories of Israel, you will see punishment and forgiveness phases repeated throughout the history of the country.
Take care,
Troy

Jews for Jesus are a nasty cult. Please go look at some cult web sites like factnet, rickross, meadowhaven and freedom of mind institute. I hope you allow your self the time and education that you need to get sufficiently informed to leave that nefarious organization.

Jehovah's prophet Jonah, in the 9th centuryBCE declared impending doom for Ninevah because of the wickedness of its inhabitants. However, since the people, including the king, repented, Jehovah spared the city.
It can happen today. There is a judgement going on now. Jesus and the angels are separating peoples. One group goes off to destruction..the other group gets God's protection.
If we all start now worshipping the true God in the way he wants to be worshipped we could all live. He would give us everlasting life if we remained faithful to him.
