Whats wrong people are we trying to protect our nation's economy or do it in? I know the Democrats are satisfied with the votes but it still remains to be seen. Now I want to see some major Health Care changes and the oil prices go down after this election.

You may be right, but did any Demcate tell you their plan for stopping the war? I never Heard one. Did they tell you their plan for stopping terrorism before it happens here in American again, I didn't here any plan. Did they tell you their plan for Social Security other than just raise taxes and the retirement age AGAIN. And did they tell if they cared if we pull out of Iraq and Iran moves in 100,000's of thousands will be muredered and they will control that region and move against saudi arabia. Did they tell us anything about that. No, they don't live in the real world. PS The Iraqi war was not about 9/11, it was about WMD that the Clinton CIA said were their, that Tony Blair of the UK said were their, that Putin of Russia siad were their. And there is a good chance that the WMD were moved into Syria long before the invatsion. The war was about a; making sure Iraq would not facilitate weapons to make another 9/11 here, and 2" creating a democracy in the middle east that would be pressure on Iran (whose people would like a democracy now, but can't because they have now have a religious nut job as a dictator who played a part in the American hostage crisis in 1979.
Please tll em the Democratic plan for all this

The cost of this war so far(http://nationalpriorities.org/index.php?option=com_wrapper&Itemid=182) makes raising taxes look like a piker.
Understand this one basic difference between the two parties:
Republicans borrow the money to spend; Democrats tax and spend. In the end, the people pay for both endeavors.
That is why I have always maintained that the only difference between the two is the color of their ties/dresses.
There has been significant damage done to this country the last six years. Don't expect miracles. A lot of things have to be undone before we can move forward again. The key word is: Patience.
Lets hope that we have seen the last of the Republicans for a long, long, long time.
Businesses have to be forced to take care of their employees---Healthcare, pensions, less overseas jobs, stringent border security, illegal alien measures, the economy and the list goes on.

Let's start with the oil prices. Prices are set by the countries we get it from. Not dropping anytime soon. Health Care. Are you ready to pay about 40% more in taxes? You will if there was universal health care. On top of that, each state that has an income or sales tax must be willing to drop one in order to ease the tax burden on their constituents. This will not happen any time soon.
I am an Independent.

It's interesting that you expect the democrats to solve the Health Care problems and solve the energy crisis in two years, yet the Republicans have not been able to do it during the six years they controlled both houses of congress and the white house. While the democrats may not solve those two issues that you mention, I bet you will see more attempts to solve them, and you have seen in the past six years.
