What about when you have teen cartoons behaving in a certain way, killing, kissing? It's no different from the movies then.

I prefer cartoons that have human traits and express emotion. Cartoons are not just for kids anymore. It is up to the parents to make sure younger kids do not see cartoons that are inappropriate for their age and lack of maturity.

However, sometimes it is better to learn some moral ideas from cartoons rather than on the street. (Some cartoons do follow moral codes.)

If a kid's parents or caregivers are so tuned out that they can not explain things to the child, a book or a cartoon can help the kid deal with things better. (Did you see "Who wants to be a Superhero?" on Sci Fi? Feedback related to Stan Lee as his father figure.) That is not a bad thing.

i feel that if a kids cartoon where to have human traits and express human emotion than the cartoons would probably have less slapstick comedy and it would have a more serious vibe to it. the politicians would want to give kids the wrong impression about life by having them watch a cartoon where some guy gets blown up by a stick of TNT or gets hit on the head by a mallet. where as if the cartoons where to look like animals and talk the child will more easily believe that the cartoon is fake and that the animal wasn't actually hurt

Tom and Jerry had many expressions.

I think that's why they were SO well liked by audiences.
