i logged in as 'su' ..
the typed .
/sbin/insmod modulename.o
but got error no -1 ..error inserting
INVALID MODULE FORMAT

also is there any command to convert the *.C or *.h files into the *.o files ..

i think i got to get "this" *.o file by compiling ...

Try modprobe modulename without a . extention.
Modules are usually found in /lib/modules/
If you are using a precompiled kernel and modprobe fails, perhaps it wasn't configured in the kernel being used. At which point, you configure and build your own kernel and modules.
