Some people say "make love" and some say "have sex" regardless of whom they are doing it with. I guess "make love" is the romantic way of saying it. However, I never use the term "make love" as i think it is too personal and a bit cheesy!

Depends on your interpretation. As a general rule having sex is something you do casually with no real feeling for the other person. It is basic Making love is two people who love each other having sex but with all the emotions that go with loving someone.

Well you can do both at the same time ... consider ...

Love Making as a sensual sexual sex act aimed at helping your partner reach a intense and satisfying state of sexual satisfaction.

Sex is using another to achieve that level for yourself primarily.

Both of these activities could lead to pregnancy.

Sexual stimulation does not always lead to pregnancy as it doesn't require the opposite sex. Masturbation, Homo-Sexuality, Sodomy, S&M, etc.

OH MY YES. Love makeing is a very intense, passionate moment in love. You can have sex with anyone, but you can't make love to just anyone. Sex is just plain down and dry.

They say that you can love someone without having sex with them & have sex with someone without loving them. Prostitution is the oldest living profession, do you think that every man/woman who has ever visited a prostitute has made love to them? No, but they have had sex with them. Making love to another person indicates a deeper, more profound relationship. You are having sex with them because you choose to be with them & are choosing to love them, not just because you are horny & need to scratch an itch.

Making love involves your mind, heart and soul. Having sex involves just the body.

Yes and No, I think you'd define love making as meaningful sex, but seeing that written down makes me think that my own answer is bollocks.
So, yes and no it is, my partner and I have sex, make love and F**k, just depends on the mood....

Sex is the characteristics of a being. Love making is trying to make another being.

yes, when you want to get into semantics!

what really makes the difference is the emotion attached to the action.

without emotions attached - its just sex, with emotions - its lovemaking.

either way, you got to wait for the right time to get involved with sex.
