I find it amazing that anyone would give a thumbs down to a question asking for an opinion. I would venture to say that those negative voters have no opinion.

Yesterday's election results confirm what I have believed for many years. The political system in this country is self correcting. For the last decade or so the right wing has gained strength and overshadowed the left. As it is with a bird, when one wing is stronger than the other, the bird tends to fly in the direction of the weaker wing. So it was yesterday with the American eagle.

Finally the d*mn commercials will stop and everyone can go about their lives once again. And it makes me wonder why I bother voting anyway. Just about everything I voted for went the other way. I guess it's cuz the majority of voters are older people and the young ones like me have too different opinions, so my vote literally counts for nothing.

I'm personally really happy that the Democrats may once again have the majority vote in da house. I wish the black guy (Harold Ford, i think) could have won, because he was running for Tennessee and they haven't had a black senator in years, but it's ok.

Massachusetts residents are screwed. At the Federal level things are better because you don't just have one party in complete control
