A moody person can train herself to identify her emotions (alternatively, some people are just naturally good at that), but most people who undergo frequent mood swings do not understand *why* they are happening. I have been accused of being moody before, and I can't disagree that I sometimes am. It's frustrating to me that my mood can change quickly, but it is only hours later, sometimes, when I figure out why it changed. I almost never understand immediately why my mood changed.

Sometimes a moody person is just someone who doesn't feel well but hasn't figured it out yet, like maybe a small internal infection that creates a lowgrade fever, a small headache...they don't even realize they don't feel well because they don't like not feeling well. However, one of the ways their illness can manifest is by being short tempered or moody. Just a suggestion.

No.I consider myself a moody person(but I'm in the moody age by excellence.I'm a teenager).I can be crying in one moment and laughing and jumping around five minutes later.sometimes I just get all cheerful and excited for no reason.Or feel quite sad without really knowing why.But I believe that,in my age, that's normal.

i don't in basic terms like the word "our temper swings". i'm a girl and that i on no account have temper swings throughout the time of that factor of the month. countless women human beings do not. some women human beings merely get cranky and might't be stricken to restrain their crankiness so those excusable "temper swings" become the excuse for each thing. human beings get temper swings for all time, women folk and adult males human beings. it may come from a metamorphosis in slumbering trend, a metamorphosis in blood sugar levels, exercising, stress, getting older, and one hundred different issues. all and sundry get temper swings and you're meant to easily cope with IT. that is not an excuse to take out your frustration on human beings. And in case you do, you owe a important apology afterwards.

I used to think people had "moods"
Now we are finding a whole host of mental illnesses..Bipolar, ADD, ADHD, manic depressive, schizophrenic, depressed, antisocial.
We have to be kind and patient with each other because times are getting tough. people are finding it harder to cope.
And they are not aware that they aren't normal. To them they are normal.

No, they have no explanation to it and sometimes they're bothered by it, but they can't help it.
