Buy out their interest in the business

That is not only bad for you but bad for business. I run my own business with my partner and I know from experience if one of us takes our eye off the ball our business suffers.
It is like having a pet it is not just for christmas it is for life try using that on your partner as the only answer I can see without having to pay them off and out is to talk.
Call a meeting but before you do write down everything you do everything they do their's should be short list by the sound of it.
Work out what effect they are having on the business or not in this case and ask then are they still interested and what is it they actually do be brutal as the only way to be a success is to give it them straight.
I would tell then it is not working for you and why see what they have to say about it before making the decision as there could be a good reason for their lack of interest.
Not only will you suffer if nothing is done but so will your business and you have to save that first and foremost.

My boyfriend has exactly the same problem with his partner he does none of the work but wants all the profits, he is lazy, he just turns up when he feels like it, shouts orders and then leaves again, he has no interest at all and leaves everything to my boyfriend, its so frustrating and upsetting for us both, we cant say stuff it and let the business go under because we need the money but we resent building it up because he will get the benefit too, we havent had a holiday for two years because we darent leave the business. The only thing we can think of is for my boyfriend to go it alone we are making plans at the moment its a bit underhand but what else can you do, so my advice to you is do the same start up on your own and take the clients with you. The best of luck to you :o)

in my opinion, i've got faith that if there is this style of difficulty, do what you're able to desire to do to have the difficulty fixed. in case you do not something approximately it, the way I see it, you have not any good to whinge. as far through fact the class ring is going, i think of that is honest for them to chop up the fee. To me, that is barely between the failings you're able to deal with once you have toddlers, no matter while you're mutually or not. Being separated from the different parent would not recommend you get a unfastened bypass out of your household initiatives.

Ask them firstly if they want to continue being a partner, they may suprise you and just walk away. If not then you will have to buy them out or set up on your own.

Just be honest. Tell them that its not working out and what would they suggest to rectify the problem. You need to end it before you are in too deep to protect your own interest

Contact your attorney and get the ball rolling to either buy them out or have them buy you out.
