Because they're not friends with the rest of the western world. Now if they did like everybody else did and kissed the US backside they may have had a nuke...eventually, but since they didn't and were mean to Israel, no nukes for Iran! Perhaps converting to Christianity might help too!

It can!. and most likely will .. The trouble is what will it do with them once they have them!. The obvious use would be to intimidate the other countries in the area, and perhaps make war on Israel.. Remember those countries who already have nuclear weapons are mostly stable and know that nuclear weapons are not the answer simply because to use them would mean the end of civilisation. Countries like Iran - north Korea and others simply see owing a nuclear weapon has a way to stop being pushed around by America..

Legally Iran is prohibited from having nuclear weapons. If it wanted to acquire or develop weapons it would need to withdraw from the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty.
If Israel has nuclear weapons, it is legitimate (if regrettable) because it is not a member of the treaty. Then again, the Israeli government does not sponsor "The World without Iran" summits.

I think this is a problem that involves the larger global community, rather than the U.S. and Israel. Would you want an irresponsible child walking down your street with a loaded shotgun? Not me! I think it's better that volatile states do not possess weapons that can take out large areas of populated land, Especially a state that places little or no value on life.

Iranians supported the assaults that killed 3000 human beings in u . s ., they're uncivilized human beings, now the chief is threatening to blow worldwide places off the map, and that's what nukes ought to do. it somewhat is no longer nuclear weapons that difficulty me, it somewhat is who's hands they're in. Iran cannot be allowed to have nuclear weapons, because they are in an unstable country and region.
The trend is for no-one to have the weapons, so any new member of 'the club' is upsetting to someone.
Iran can of course have nuclear power, and suitable arrangements with the IAEA should be set in place to monitor the nuclear material and waste, in line with international guidelines.

You are pointing a finger right at a very evident hypocrisy. WE say that YOU cannot have nukes because that would be de-stabilizing and dangerous to security. Of course not only do we ourselves have nukes but one of us has actually used them in war and has made moves lately to develop more. So what is our credibility? I would say "Zero."
The answer: Everybody get rid of them.

Why waste time and money living in misery in planet of apes?
When we have the five super powers with veto rights to look after us.
Why let fear is the key kick us all in the butts in planet of apes just because we don't know what those super powers were out there for in planet of apes.
All at loss with the landmark left behind by our creator in Russia in planet of apes.
If don.t know what the landmark is then go to Russia and look for it in planet of apes.
The survival of little children in own backyard is more important than the nukes that is already at high risk and high stakes kick on the butts by their dirty old men in office in planet of apes.
A real jokes on those monkeys out there still busy with the nuke that serve no good puropse for mankind in planet of apes.
Why have nukes when children born and raised after independence were dying in their youth out there in planet of apes.
