Kashmir, which is located on the northern part of India, is a cause of dispute in between India and Pakistan. At the time of independence the ruler and residents of Kashmir were given a choice to merge either with India or Pakistan and they decide to go with India. According to international boundary, Kashmir is a part of India. But every now and then Pakistan claims over Kashmir saying that the residents there are Muslims and the language and culture also matches Pakistani culture. On this I would like to tell that India has more number of Muslims as compared to Pakistan. Even the Prime Minister of India is a Muslim.
What do you think? According to you is the Pakistani claim over Kashmir is right or wrong? I would appreciate if you can please answer me with your name and country as well.
Thanks and regards

Ok,Lets be fair.I am a Pakistani and i thinking is based on logic, not on emotional brain washing by polititions. Its clear that Kashmiries never actually agreed or voted to stay with India because there were no democraticlly elected government in Kashmir in 1947.State of kashmir was ruled by a raja , a dictator, a non elected opperessor from minorty. That king actually signed the treaty.
Secondly,I admire India as worlds biggest democracy.I think that as a democratic country India should give right of self determination to poor kashmiries who are sacrificed their comforts for their right.
Thirdly there is a Shikh prime minister not a muslim, you are wrong. and i dont think India had a Muslim PM in its history.

I think the people of Kashmir spoke when they decided to become part of India. Pakistan has no claims on them anymore and should stay out of India's affairs. My name is umimportant to you as I am just a common person from the United States.(I wont give my real name)
