Yea, at least for 2 years, we have the sleaze & criminal 'lack of honesty' that we had for a few years when demos had control under clinton, and maybe even the blockage they had for 35+ years.
Actually it will be the country moving backward to the 60's,70's.

Don't smile for too long. There's a lot of work to be done.
And remember that time is the enemy of all political parties. Once they are in power for so long, ANY party needs to be turfed out and reminded who's in charge.
But it is VERY sweet to see DeLay's old seat swing to the Dem's in Texas. I wonder how long it will take all my neighbors to yank down their Sekula Gibbs (Rep) signs ;-)

"in with honesty ,integrity, and a new direction for the country"
....What the hell are you smoking this morning, son? It was the same old lying, corrupt, rat-bastard DEMOCRATS that won, silly boy, NOT the "New Age Freedom, Justice and Integrity Party" .....

Yes it is sweet! Now the closeted gay republicans every where can rejoice (in private of course) that congress will block any gay marriage amendments to the consitution.

Nothing will change.
Even your welfare check will not be bigger.
