While the Democrats control the House without question, the Senate is still undecided. Either way the president is now a lame duck. However, the label also applies to Democrats at this point. The reason is because the president can veto any legislation they attempt to pass. The conclusion here is don't count on anything substantive happening in government for the next 2 years unless the Democrats truly embrace bi-partisan legislation efforts.

Not really.

The Dems will not have a very thin margin in the Senate and only a slightly larger one in the house. Any legislation still needs his signature.

Also remember 1994. Clinton looked as dead as possible and he had a landslide 2 years later.

I don't think Dems should overplay their hand. Hopefully there should be some middle ground.

Bush has always been a figurehead or a puppet. Cheney is the one pulling the strings, but there are powers with money that control Cheney as well.

My opinion is that you have no sincerity when it comes the well-being of the United States, as long as your sickos are in there who stand for everything that is depraved and rotten.

If you were sincere, then you would be asking how everyone could work together for the benefit of our nation, and it might have even invoked some intelligent and inspiring responses.
