It's human nature!
First we find a way to make a hard task easier and save time.Then we find a way to entertain ourselves during the new leisure time we have.Then we get hung up on being entertained.
Most guys will spend more money on a big screen TV than they will on tools.And if they spend a lot on tools it's so they can get the big screen TV.
(That's a case of oversimplification to make a point!)

Well, think of gadgets as a cigarette, your curious to try it(DON'T DO IT THOUGH)!! it gets addictive because of the nicotine. The reason why they get addictive to gadgets is because of what they do. Like an Ipod downloads cool music, or an X-Box is the best game console. it may be bad for their health, but it's good too, without the gadgets used for farming, then growing crops would take a very long time! Not to mention having to kill every animal on the farms for meat and other products on that are on the shelves!
