i am 19 and am on vacation now.have nothin else to do.

This is not bad, you are on the vacation.

If it makes you feel relax and good fine.

Most adults in any age group need 8 t0 9 hours and some need 10 hours of sleep to rejuvenate, some get by on 4 hours also. If when you wake up or get out of the bed and feel fine then it is OK. If you feel tiered you need to sleep less, over sleeping can make a person lethargic.

Sleeping more is a habit that one gets in to in 3 t0 7 days. It also takes 21 days minimum to break that habit, so you need to make informed decision.

You said "have nothing else to do."

Enjoy the vacation, go for a walk, catch up on some things.........

I also saw your other Q?, So you can do some fee hand exercises. Find a good book, visit a library.

i'm unsure medically if there is something incorrect with it, yet I too require greater than a number of sleep. If i don't get a minimum of 9 or 10 hours i've got faith exhausted all day. I relatively have heard of a few learn that shows the fewer you sleep, the longer you reside...yet i do no longer understand if there is any certainty to that. I say, while you're drained sleep. as long because of the fact the sleep isn't affecting your on a regular basis existence, what harm ought to it do?

Its k if u sleep for 10 hours for time being. But it should be between 7.5 hrs and 8.5 hrs. DOnt make that a habbit.... Will cause u a big trouble later when U join some work, U wont get adjusted to that enviornament.

I think 10 hours is too much; even if you are on vacation. This will be a hard practice to break once you return to school or start working. 8 hours should be your max. You can read, exercise etc. once you keep your mind and/or body active during the rest of the time.

Sleep is needed more when a person is younger,as we age our need to sleep decreases. Of course,when we are older we have more time to sleep,oh well. My brothers could sleep 12 to 14 hrs at age 19,and did! I was more hyper (ADHD) and could fly by the seat of my pants after 6 hours. Everyone is different.
Of course,you say you have nothing better to do.Are you depressed? Sleeping is a major symptom of depression. Apathy is another one.
It's your vacation,though,Spend it as you see fit!

Well, they say you should have 8 hours sleep every night and I don't think 2 hours extra is bad at all! I think it's probably good! I usually get 5 hours sleep which is not really good, and so I'd recommend that if you could take the 10-TAKE IT;) More sleep is better than less sleep if you ask me, unless you over do it!

There aren't going to be any health concerns with sleeping 10 hours/day, if that's what you're asking. It's not going to harm you in any way. However, you may consider trying to sleep less because your mind and body are actually sharper around 6-8 hours. Getting too much sleep can make you feel sluggish and achy.

I seriously think you're wasting time.. Anyhting more than 9 hours is not needed by the body (unless you did something really strenous). Why don't u do anything else? Anything else would be better than sleeping for so long.

Nothing wrong will happen to your body, but you still must exercise. Back pains may occur.

hey 10 hr. is vry gud 4 ur skin and health but may b bad 4 ur work... try to sleep 8 or 10 hr. if u r skin consious or health concious and can reduce the hr. if have some work

sure if your a bear! Why would you want to waste all that time sleeping?? Get up and do something. Time is going to go by fast enough so get up and go for a walk. Go somewhere, do something. Someday when your a little old lady your going to say to yourself," Why didn't I do more?" Get moving lady, times a wasting
