Don't get so happy yet, there are still to Senate races the Republicans may steal, however, the house is Democrat and there is noting to worry about there. Now the lady who will be the house Whip is a trip, and her 100 day plan should prove interesting. Now in 2 years when the next election comes up, we most likely will elect a Democrat for President, and more democrats in the House and Senate so thing can really change. But again, since the Village Idiot from Texas is still the President, he has Veto power and that can really clog up the House and Senate. I hope he sees this as a loss and becomes the Lame Duck he truly is and leaves the Veto stamp alone.

AM I HAPPY? I"M AS HAPPY AS A DOG WITH TWO WEENIES!!! AS for as stay the course goe's we shouldn't even be there. They say we will have terrorists at our door? That nit wit has made more terrorist than Bin Laden ever could have. The whole world hates us now. I am truly sorry for all the fine men and women who have sacrificed over there, but we did not belong there in the first place. I hate to say this but the only way we can keep this up is to reinstate the draft. Some of our people have been over there two, three, and even four times. After awhile they will get burnt out, and you can't blame them. An army of draftees is just not as good as a voluntary army. They are not motivated and don't want to be in the military in the first place. Bush will not implement a draft, he will stick that on his predecessor. Please believe me, if this keeps up, we will need a draft. Watch North Korea, they know we are strapped and they will really push things to the limit. Thanks again DUBBYA. Hell, even Venezuela hates us. I was an airborne ranger in 65 all volunteers. You had to volunteer to be airborne. I was in the 101st. The difference between a motivated volenteer and a draftee is like day and night, believe me.And I don't blame a draftee for not wanting to get his *** shot off, he just wants to go back home and live a normal life like everyone else. Not like DUBBYA who couldn;t even make his guard meetings. The Air Nat. Guard yet. Good grief. And Cheney, who had "Other committments.". So, am I happy? HELL YES!!!!!

In reading comments about the 'republicans getting whipped', 'stay the course', I can't help but wonder, do any of you have children (or any other family member) currently serving in our Military?
"Stay the course" has cost many of us our son's and daughter's their lives. Yet, we proudly serve to give you the rights and freedoms with one being, your ability to answer my question.
Yes, I have lost a child and yes, I'm proud of all of our Military. When the terrorists come 'knocking on your door', let's see how happy you are then.

I'm not in ecstasy yet but let's see what happens. It's the next Presidential race that worries me. But whatever the turnout I'll be in ecstasy when this idiot of a leader gets out of office.

ok, so you hate the rep's and bush, ok we get it and its not all about hate...when your gloating and immature name calling is out of your system lets see what your party can do....so far they have no plan, no ideas and obviously no clue. the only thought they have had for the past few years is 'i hate bush' so what are they going to do once he's gone...any solutions, any ideas, anything at all....thats what we all thought, all talk no action.
