Hi there,

The best and easiest way to remove all trojans is by installing the Free Trial of Prevx1. This will scan your PC and remove any infections free of charge.

1. take note of the trojan name. Visit mcafee's site and type the name in the search box. On the description page, there is usually a removal instruction for the trojan
2. or, switch to kaspersky. Trojans could not be deleted instanly because it is still in memory. Base on feedback, this anti virus is able to terminate the trojan first, then delete it successfully afterwards. Bad point, kaspersky sometimes detects legitimate files :(

did it identify the trojan name? you an sometimes get dedicated removal tools, try searching google or the nortan site for the name of the trojan. strange that it cannot be quarantined .. make sure you close ALL running programs like outlook and IE to prevent locks on temporary files. failing that, restart your PC in safe mode and run your scan. ensure you have the latest defs.
