Raise the car, remove the drive shaft, use a plug to keep the gear oil/and or trans fluid from coming out the rear housing, put a jack underneath the trans, remove the exauhst if it doesn't look like the transmission or crossmember can be removed otherwise, remove the cross-member, remove the slave cylinder, lower trans on the jack a little and remove the starter (note the battery should have been disconnected a long time ago, remove the shifter, have a friend support the transmission while you remove the bell housing bolts, pull the transmission out, remove the pressure plate, remove the flywheel and take it to a machine shop and have it resurfaced, remove the pilot bearing out of the flywheel and put a new one in, (now would give you a perfect opportunity to replace a rear main seal out of the oil pan if it is leaking also), remove the clutch fork and throw out bearing and install the new one, reverse the procedure and remember to put a light amount of white lithium grease around the spline of the input shaft on the transmission, also remember after you have everything together to top off the tranny with gear oil. Hope this advice helped point you in the right direction. If you are uncertain about anything while doing this job I would highly recommend you buy a Chilton's manual or just take it to a transmission shop if you can afford it.
