My baby was lying face down when I got my first ultrasound done, And the tech said the same thing- Said 'It LOOKS like it MIGHT be a girl'....That was done @ 22wks..
I got another ultrasound done @ 37wks, This time done by the Dr. and he again, Said it was a girl, So more than likely, It is.
Congrats!!! :-)

Hi, I'm 19 weeks & 2 days and had my scan yesterday.
My husband & I want to wait until the baby is born to find out what it is, however, my husband THINKS he caught a glimpse of a BOY yesterday. The thing is, it takes so much practise and learning to be able to read a scan that neither of us really believe he was right.
Luckily the technicians are good at what they're doing, so if they told you "it's a girl" you can be assured that it's most likely a girl (they usually say it's 80% sure) however, if they said "it's probably a girl" then keep waiting, they gave you their best guess but could be wrong. Hey, it's science, not magic!
And how much fun will it be to have a beautiful surprise when you give birth this spring!
Best of luck, & congratulations!

If the tech said t appears to be a girl, they are usually pretty sure. If the legs are closed my tech told me they base it uppon nothing is peeking out. I was told I was having a girl under the same cirrumsatnces, and I did have a girl. We purchased all pink so in labor it hit mem "what if i am having a boy...what will he wear" just make sure to but some neutral as well and keep reciepts. Also ask your OB, some do another scan at around 26 weeks.

in the experience that your toddler is regularly energetic in the process the day and you haven't any longer felt him flow a lot, then i might perhaps make an appointment to be seen. i replaced into advised that interior the day, once you're greater energetic and up strolling around, the toddler has a tendency to sleep because of the fact there's a rocking action with your strikes. If it relatively is something which you're particularly stressful approximately then make the appointment.

I do not know who your doctor is, but no one can determine the sex of a baby before 6 months into pregnancy. So maybe you should just wait a little. And besides why do you want to know?
