As long as you do it three days before a ground frost is due. The lack of sunshine this time of year prevents the grass from growing so you won't have to do it til about April/May next year. Again, watch out for ground frost, which will kill newly cut grass.

Grass needs light, warmth and moisture to continue to grow. At this time of year light is getting limited and heat is almost none existent so grass barely grows at all.

You should stop cutting when it stops growing, there is no set time. If your grass still needs a last cut, try to do this on a dry, frost free day as mowing wet grass is more likely to rip rather than cut. Don't cut it shorter than 1 inch so that the roots have some protection over the winter.

That depends on where you live, I see the neighbor was out yesterday. I plan to mow some today. If there is no snow on the ground go ahead and mow. I just want to cut up the leaves.

We use our lawnmower to mulch the fallen leaves. The leaves haven't
stopped falling, so we haven't stopped mulching. Mulching puts nutrients
back into the soil to feed the grass and everything else. It is a much better
idea than burning.

I did mine 2 weeks ago, it's the last time I'll do it this year.

It stops growing, lack of daylight/sun and the ground is cold.
