Is there any s/w available for restoring?

In my institution more peoples are using same computer including childerence and they are changing system settings and programfiles. So how can i restore my earliest position. I HEARED 'IF ONE PCI CARD IS USED WE CAN RESTORE HARDDISK AS EARLIER EVEN IF IT FORMATED" BUT IT IS COSTLY.
So can you please help?

If u are using windows xp, then there is a restore option to restore to any day prior to current day. use it everyday and restore it to previous day.
