I try not to. Either I make good on my word or not make a promise at all. But yes I have broken promises quite a few times when I can't help it. I try to tell the person in advance so the person won't get disappointed and apologize if needed.

I try not to make promises. But there are always promises inherent in things we say will do, so yes. I think anyone who says no is either deluded or a hypocrit.

Breaking a promise is about being human, it's about adjusting to circumstances when life throws you a curve ball. Sometimes breaking them hurts others, sometimes ourselves, but it is not humanly possible to go through life without breaking a promise.

Of course I have, not major ones nor many thankfully, but I have broken promises before.

I just broke a very important promise.
A boy trusted me and not his girlfriend with certain information and I let emotions get the better of me when she began to verbally attack me.

I feel terrible and I wish I could said sorry.
It's an awful thing and although I don't make regrets, I still wish it hadn't come out.

i don't promise so easily if i think that it has chances to be broken. and if i am sure that i can or i will keep my promise then i promise and also keep it.so i don't think i have broken any promise yet.

Unfortunately I have but not many. I can't even remember any specific promises, but I know there has to be at least one.

Unfortuneately, Yes I have. If you can avoid breaking a promise, don't break it. The guilt of it, its just not worth it.
