It's okay to have secrets. Who knows, your friend might not feel comfortable letting you know just yet. Your friend needs time to adjust as well. And it's best if she adjusts first before you guys since you will have a harder time adjusting to the addition to the group and your friend's personality change. Give that person time, it's not because they don't trust you, it's just that they don't know how and when to tell you.

Depends on what the secret is. If you are sleeping with her boyfriend or something like that, then honey, it ain't gonna be a secret for long! If it's nothing as drastic as that, and you just want to keep something private, then it doesn't hurt to have a 'personal life' where you dont have to share everything!

Yes it's ok. If you share everything something might just come back and bite you in the butt even though you feel everyone can be trusted. Sometimes you just have to have something you can call your own.

of course it is okay to have secrets from friends. your love life is personal and private and is no one's business but your own. it is also more respectable to keep it to yourself. just so you know, it's also okay to have secrets from your bf/gf. you don't have to share information with anyone unless you want to.
