At the moment I do a bit of work in a removal firm. I like the work but my hours vary a lot and also I have to get up very early often. The guys I work with are decent and my boss is a mate from school. I don't get paid very well (minimum wage) but sometimes I get a bonus if things go very well.
I aim to improve my career options by doing evening classes soon.

I hope you love your job!

Hi Tess
Yes, I do enjoy my job most of the time. I am a ships Captain, working in the Persian Gulf at the moment. I have been away from home for too long and am really looking forward to getting off the ship.

Highlights of the job are good salary, plenty of free time, we have internet and phones, gymnasium, sky TV and all that on board, plus I get a day off for every day I work away.
Downside is the length of time we have to work away, missing wife, family etc. Panicking over whether I will be home for Xmas etc.

All in all - my job is not so bad but I wish I could find one at home, on dry land.
