You say that like it is a bad thing. Neo-cons will not be able to push their agenda either and that is by far the most evil of the two.

True...
Pres. Bush retains the veto, while the Dems don't have the 2/3
super majority to override him.

Right now it's a stalemate with both parties playing for '08.

If they do it will only serve to show that they are still out of touch with the American people and will give the Dems even more seats in both houses in '08, plus the presidency to boot!

$9trillion. Dragging ballplayers, biz execs... to
testify. Sarbanes / Oxley. AMT tax. I'm thrilled at
the prospects of gridlock choking these lunes off.

Maybe the Dems will not be able to be the socialists
that the Reps were/are.

The Bush Nightmare is finally coming to a close.

Maybe in fifty or a hundred years, we can undo half of the harm he's caused to this Country. At least it's a start.

no it's going to end 51/49. They are not going to push anything that would upset 2008. Congress will be on cruise control.

This congress is a "dead stick". They know it. They throw some subpoena's around to make their base happy and it's on to 2008.

No they aren't, not when you consider that Democrats will finally be able to get their legislation out of committee and on to the floor for a vote, and that the Democrats will vote in a block on important matters.
