probably to be governed by the corrupt or the unpricipled, here is my reasoning:

if governed by the corrupt you know it, the media knows it.....and we can watch for that.

if governed by by the incompetent, that person will cover up (even unintentionally) and allow the corrupt to become even more so....as the corrupt have a "cloak" so to speak, the incompetent. we have a prime examples RIGHT now in the white house. his incompetence has rocked this nation every which way but loose, need I say more?

Well, incompetence surely leads to corruption...so I'd have to go with unprincipled as being the lesser of the three evils noted.

What happens when you have an Administration that is all of the above (and then some)?

I'd say the incompetent; they're fundamentally ill-equipped to lead. The corrupt and unprincipled however, know what is right yet avoid it.

I'll choose the corrupt because I can think of a few countries who've historically had corrupt governments that are still around and doing well. So would Iraq be better off with Saddam Hussein now or not?

Republicans have been all three, so if you voted against them you chose the good, not just the lesser of evils. If you search under "republican corruption" you will be astounded at just how bad Republican office holders and party big-wigs have gotten after years of unopposed power.
