Definitely. Just watch any Bollywood movie and you got your answer. Movies released over the past few years have so much english in them.

Some are even titled in English now. Like Don and Jogger's Park.

Even those titled in Hindi are filled with English dialogue, and the songs are like: "where's the party tonight" and "It's the time to disco". These songs are mostly in Hindi, but have loads of English, as can be seen by the title.

The dances have moved away from extremely typical stuff, but they are still indian for the most of it. However, there are so many english pop moves being thrown in and blended with Bollywood's own style.

The outfits have long since moved from just sari's and Indian outfits to skirts, pants, tee's, bikini's etc. A large part of India is becoming less conservative and are being swayed by Western Culture.

Looking away from Bollywood-- There are no Pizza huts in small villages in Punjab.

One thing anybody has to hand to India is that whatever Westernization they face, they blend it with Indian styles and make it unique. Even for Pizza Huts and McDonalds, instead of serving the common beef, they serve veggie burgers and lamb/ mutton burgers.

Consider that it has been strongly influenced by Western culture since British control began in the 18th Century, and remains influential in the West because of the sheer number of English-speaking persons there now. A lot of important software engineering is done by Indians, and that's of critical importance to the West (and East). The point isn't so much that India has been influenced by the West, but that having been profoundly influenced by the West, is now in a position to influence the West profoundly in turn.

That's just a starting point, but India is a special place in the history of the mingling of East and West.
