Firefox 1.5 is installed already on my PC if I install Firefox 2 will it take all the installed add-ons and extensions of Firefox 1.5 i.e will it upgrade existing Firefox 1.5? or do I have to install all the Add-Ons and Extensions again?

As someone who has done exactly what you are after on a number of occasions (spent much time developing themes when I actually had the time), yes you can - I've had up to 5 separate instillations/versions installed at once! Just don't run then simultaneously!

Each need to be installed in it's own programs folder (use the custom install option to do this). Would also advise to set up a clean profile to save profile corruption - open the run console and enter "firefox.exe -p" to open the profiles manager and create new profile. Is easy enough to switch btwn either.

The link below explains how to set up a custom shortcut for each profile, so you don't have to always go through the profile manager to switch

That depends on whether the add-ons have the support for Firefox 2. If it does, it will automatically update itself. If it does not, it would still be installed but unusable until the add-on has an upgrade to Firefox 2 compatability.

Mozilla firefox 2 is nice. I like it for a browser, yet you're able to be conscious that some courses at the instant are not nicely matched with firefox. if so, it is user-friendly to fall back on internet explorer.

upgrades to systems usually remove the old one
while it installs the new one.
