First thing Dems are going to do is ask for the removal of Rumsfeld (12 Generals have already asked for his removal). When his own are asking for removal, don't YOU think it would be the right thing. Chaney only has the 2 years left (so who cares). Rice - with the way things are changing, well she just won't have the carte blanch that she had before.

It's a great thing for America!!

Since there are quite a few moderate republicans who have already split with Bush, I think there will be a big push to get rid of Rumsfeld.......this group is too stubborn to let Rumsfeld step down...but sit back and watch the panic stricken president come up with a new policy in Iraq....

Go back to your civics class, these are under the control of the President not Congress.

I suppose they could be impeached but that would be a waste of time and money when other more important things could have been dealt with. Republican policies have already wasted enough time and money.

The only person that can remove the above named from office is The President. When you are in an appointed poisition, you serve at the pleasure of The President. Remember the 2008 is in play now, keep your eyes on the prize. You catch far more flies with honey than bitter water. Nancy needs to kill them with kindness. Even appoint one or two as committee chairs.

Cheney is the Vice President, he cannot be removed unless he is impeached, which is highlu unlikely, or dies, in which case the President can appoint someone else. Or not.

Rice and Rumsfeld were appointed by the President and approved by the house and senate, so they can only be removed by extremely exceptional circumstances.

The Dems will not have a whole lot to say about anything. They don't have the muscle to override a VETO. Did you sleep through school or aare you being deliberately obtuse?
