Morning sickness is not a mandatory condition of pregnancy! You may or may not get it. I never was sick, but the smell of cooking oil made me feel rather unwell.
Other people suffer very badly, so count your lucky stars that you are one of the lucky ones!

No,not everyone suffers morning sickness. I've had six, and didn't suffer a single moment. It used to drive my coworkers at the hospital green jealous. I did eventually suffer from gastric reflux, though, as the babies grew larger. One kick and up came everything, without warning. Afterwards, I felt like a dragon and suffered horrendous hearturn. I had Mylanta bottles stashed everywhere, just in case.
Morning sickness is related to the changes in hormone levels, and how quickly they surge and you recover. Usually you don't start having a problem until you are about 8 weeks, and for some that is never more than a nauseous feeling. It just depends on your body. Some get violently ill, and require hospitalization, some are ill until around 20 weeks, and some through the entire pregnancy. You can't even use other women in your family as a guide. My mother had mild sickness, I had none, and my sister threw up the entire nine months. My grandmother had 14, and she said she was ill with some and not at all with the others. It is different for each woman, and can be different with each pregnancy.
If you don't suffer, count yourself lucky. I never had the morning sickness, but the reflux made up for it. Just take care of yourself otherwise, and take it as it comes. And sleep while you can, because the day is coming you sure won't be able to do it very easily. Good luck, and healthy baby!

Well Sweetheart, do a little dance of joy and hope that it stays that way! What I am saying is that you are very lucky. Contrary to popular belief not all women have morning sickness.
The name itself is a misnomer. While many women do feel the nausea worse first thing in the morning it can be just as bothersome in the afternoon or evening.
Whether or not you will experience morning sickness varies from woman to woman and from one pregnancy to another. You might not have any morning sickness with this baby and have it very severely with your next baby. Mother nature can be very capricious!
Don't celebrate too soon tho, it could still happen as your pregnancy progresses. If you are still pretty much free of it by the time you reach the end of your first trimester, I would breathe a sigh of relief and feel lucky that one of the major discomforts of pregnancy has passed you by!
I wish you a wonderful pregnancy and I hope you enjoy every moment of this magical time in your life. Remember to eat well, small nutritious meals often and lots of protein. Get plenty of rest, it is good for you and the baby. The very best thing you can do for your baby is to take wonderful care of YOU. Pamper yourself, this is a precious time in your life.
Love and Blessings to you and your wee baby!

Congratulations on your pregnancy, morning sickness is common in early pregnancy as your body is stunned by the pregnancy and until adjusted it can cause morning sickness. If you have no morning sickness then you are lucky as your body has taken to pregnancy well so far, I had terrible morning sickness with my miscarriage, but my son and daughters pregnancy were perfect, nothing like the textbook symptoms I am pregnant again and now realize I took their pregnancy for guaranteed.
Having no morning sickness just means you get to enjoy the early stages of pregnancy most women miss out on as they are to busy in the bathroom been sick. Pregnancy is a wonderful experience and enjoy every part, note everything as you will easily forget. You will feel more pregnant soon don't tell yourself you have to be sick to realize your pregnant, you don't. Have a wonderful pregnancy and enjoy it. Your perfectly normal so relax.

Well which are u? 6 or 8 weeks?????? The reason i ask is because many times the sickness doesn't really kick in until 6-7weeks, at least it didn't for me. Maybe u will be one of the lucky ones and not get it at all! I also didn't vomit, just felt the nausea like u are

Congratulations! Although a lot of women do suffer from morning sickness, not everyone does.
I felt a little nauseous from around 6-12 weeks, but was never actually sick either. To avoid feeling ill, remember to eat little and often - I found it really worked for me!
Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy.

Not everyone gets morning sickness. And every pregnancy is different. I've heard that if you are carrying a girl you have a higher chance of morning sickness because you have a higher hormone level but I've had a boy and a girl and wansn't sick with either one. I guess I was one of the lucky ones!

Totally normal. Not everyone runs to the toilet every chance they get. I never got sick. I remember one time riding down the interstate- and I felt a bit queezy. After we stopped it went away and I was ok. No more problems.
I did have lower back pain when I was further along- other than that it was a great experience.
Good Luck!
