Thank you for all of your answers. What you are saying about bankroll is true but it takes time to see if it's a bad run of cards or if you just aren't any good. What I'm looking for is more something immediately visible and if you've got a humorous story about that's all the better.

Statistically, you should win your share of the hands over many games played. However, you'll obviously do better playing below your accomplishment level of play than above it. See the movie with Matt Damon and Ed Norton (Rounders 1998).

If you draw out more often than your opponents, than you are chasing and have your money in bad more often than not. If opponents are constantly drawing out on you, than the opposite is true, and you will get the best of it in the long run.
