Avian Flu is an issue, but honestly Mad Cow(Encephalitis spongeforma) scares me much more. The root causes are prions and not viral or bacterial. What that means is the prions that cause Mad Cow cannot be destroyed by cooking or irradiating the meat. There is still no known way to fight these prions effectively in vivo either.
With all of the blood borne or food borne pathogens out there this one scares me the most.Granted Avian Flu cannot be deatroyed in vivo either, but there are more precautions you can take outside abstinance.

No, because I watch no news programming, I am oblivious to all the scenarios of Armegeddon that could be heaved upon us.
This may be hopelessly naive and ignorant, but I just wash my hands a lot with plain soap and water, avoid flu shots every year, eat well, exercise and have been healthy as a horse for many years.

Bird flu is such old news! It's terrorists they want you to be scared of now. Personally I'm sick to death of the terrorist Scare, it's been on for ages. Bring back SARS that's what I say and whatever happened to small pox, that just petered out before it even got started.
Don't worry. The government will protect us from the scary monsters.

Oddly enough, no, not really.
I always think that living in my lovely little village in the mountains of Andalucía - that nothing like that will ever reach here.
Of course, I'm wrong - bird flu could have reached here just as it did other places, but it just feels safe up here! Maybe a false sense of security...

Of course, but I try not to dwell on it. Just try to live each day to the fullest, be a good person, and most of all love God and family and friends. What is going to happen is going to happen, there isn't a lot to be done about something like that.

(on the instant, i've got faith, this with any luck non-occurrent 'pandemic' is being contained to countless small components world extensive (with any luck) and scientists are busy attempting to stay away from further spreading and additionally delving into countless experiments to attempt and hit upon a vaccination.) even with the undeniable fact that, some human beings might argue that this pandemic has borne out of ourselves and we are the clarification for such illnesses. As technological know-how ever will develop, its demands and its remedies for numerous ailments, hence increasing the prevalent existence expectation of its human beings, new and unusual lines of virus advance- some common to conflict against, others greater virulent and might even bring about international pandemic, which comprise chicken flu. yet even with the undeniable fact that plenty, we nevertheless could carry it in our heads that not something, not even the main brutal, callous or hated merits dying, extremely in this style.
