Yes may be a great idea since you probably working security work all evening or all night shifts? Also weekends? If that is the case and you like most of us have to work then try finding another job you like and are the hours you would rather have to help you have a social life, but may be a bad idea to quit this job until you do find another one. In other words don't burn your bridges OK?

If you want to stay as a security guard then move to Las Vegas. Lots of security jobs and they have a 24 hour lifestyle there where you could easily get a social life.

Social Life is how you make it. If you are with a secure company that has benefits and good pay, I suggest you stay. Years ago, I worked for a strong company. I had no social life. I quit. If I had stayed, I could have retired years ago with good retirement benefits, medical, 401K.

If your job doesn't offer these benefits, I suggest you leave for one that does, not just for a social life. But I understand your concerns. Good Luck!

Well young chap, you are aware of net than you are basically educated and my suggestion to you can find a job in call centres if you have fluent english skills and if you doesn't have you can acquire it, call centres will provide good earning and specific timing also, for ex(9.30 a.m to 6 p.m), and in remaining time you can develop your skills by reading books like," How to win friends and influence people" by Dale Carneige.this book has got things which will earn you lot of skills which you don't have. Book like this are made once in a century that book will just make you aware of how to earn your social status, better than i can tell you,and my friend i will be happy when you earn social status and please do let me know, when you earn it, right now i like to be your friend,ok buddy
