Iam a 15 year old teenager and there is this boy who just turned 14 and he has feelings for me. He is in yr 8 and iam in yr 10. We are good friends and he just recently broke up with his girlfriend.. and its obvious the reason is because of me. Things never worked out between them.. it was immature and desparate love thats how we all saw it. He always makes me happy and we always flirt around and all, but i feel like an idiot, if i tell people he is in yr 8 they automatically get a negative reaction. "ewww" or whatever. Is it really wrong? he doesn't really understand love the way i do probably because im older. Its just not right is it? if it was the other way around, me being the young one then i guess it would be ok. Are people just sterotyping? sometimes i feel as if i want to be with him but i think the only thing that is stopping me is how people would perceive us, i dont think i could really accept it 100% myself either.. but he is growing stronger feelings for me.. wat do i do?

What difference does it make??? Besides you act as if your so old yourself. Your only in the 10th grade for crying out loud!!! You both are young either way you look at it. Who cares what other people are saying, and if it's such a big deal then just leave it all alone. You make things sound like your so old or something. By the way sweetie, you don't know what love is. Trust me the only love you experience is puppy love. Your saying that he couldn't understand love the way you do because your older???, but i'm trying to figure out how you would know so much about it seeing your only a 10th grader. Try not to grow up too fast sweetie. Trust me real love and real relationships are a lot of work and they can be a lot of drama too. When real love hits you when your a lot older you will know what i'm talking about.

I might say commonly that age does no longer subject, however that's extra for while each men and women are adults. Natalie sounds like you really have feelings for this guy as well so in reality is 12 months such a huge age difference .I know that teens see dating younger guys as slumming but if he makes you feel special and you make his world turn on its side . why be one of the heard like all the other sheep,
Just tell them that you are his older and far more mature woman and that you like to have a toy boy . your peers will think that you are so cool. .
