I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU, THEY SPRAY HALF A BOTTLE OVER THEMSELVES AND THINK THEY SMELL LOVELY. DONT THEY REALISE THAT MORE IS NOT ALWAYS BEST,

i think people that wear loads of perfume are the natural sweaty people who just drown their clothes and themselves every morning after a shower in perfume.
the other theory is to repel people who get turned on by sent therefore it works out as a sifting process.
and finally its for people to target those poor souls with allergies who will probably get a cold due to sneezing theie heads off all night after being exposed to too much perfume (my winters are evil) ......hmm oh and perfume repels animals and stuff so if your living in a country full of dangerous things that have fangs (no not a kinky man/woman or vamp) but something like an erm spider may not want to bite you cos well in its small mind you stink!!!

Well dear people like to smell other that what they really are... like putting a shield. But if you know what perfumes match your personality then people are more comfortable around you...but yes if you put some thing that smelled like a dead rat..of course you are "outta there".
So try few of them and see what you like and encourage people to do the same may be you will change your mind...take care ...diluted

I think that so many people either buy cheap perfume that dissipates quickly, so they put on a LOT to compensate and smell it longer .... or they are so used to it that THEY can't smell it anymore and again, over-compensate so that they can smell it themselves.

I HATE when someone has so much perfume on that you get nauseous when they pass. Either that or it sets off my allergies. =P

I like it when a girls smell is noticable too.

I fear that I wear too much aftershave, as I have very poor sense of smell so use plenty so i can smell it myself. I use car air-fresheners like billy-o because I can't smell them afte r1/2 hour or so.
I digress;
Perfume is better that BO or fishy smell innit?

Some people smell like they bathe in the damn stuff... Maybe it is because they suffer with terrible BO and need to keep everyone else at a distance... Others because it does ward people off... So they get personal space...

I think their noses get used to it very quickly so they keep putting on more as they can't smell it.
i hate it when i try on something in a shop and it stinks of somebody's idea of a nice smell.
