Look a Steven Hawkins.He was suppose to have died years ago but he had unanswered questions that he isn't giving up on .He uses nothing but his mind,yet his body still remains .How come as Einstein Worked on his theories as he was dying it didn't seem to keep him alive.If its a passion for a quest that keeps you from dying then is there a way for me to develope this mind over body although I dont' have the intelligence that neither posses we all use very little of our potential but some can tap that and others cannot .Its there a way for me to find the way to develope a quest so strong that I can survive to?

To each his own. It would vary by the desire of the person and the disease including it's location.

Survival is a basic human instinct. As far as your question is concerned, how would anyone know unless they've been in such a position as Steven Hawkins is or someone with terminal cancer? I imagine that the level of pain would have a lot to do with the willingness or lack of will to live.
