Multi-Talented artists have always been fascinating to me. I would like to know of and listen to more. Unfortunately, mainstream music doesn't seem to care for the uber-talented and they're hard to find. Any new bands/musicians would be great! Thanks!

Todd Rundgren writes, produces, and usually plays every instrument on his albums. His 70's hit "Can We Still Be Friends" was an example of this. And bass player Me'Shell NdegeOcello also writes, produces and performs her own music. She's released about four albums, on Madonna's old label, Maverick.

Jesse Malin wrote, played, sang and produced on his second album "The Heat." He didn't play everything, but he did play.

Erin McKeown plays, writes and sings her own music, though I'm not sure about the production.

Five for Fighting is, in fact, a one-man band.
