I have been concerned after 2000 & 2004 that we might not ever have a trustworthy election again. Today, barring some revelation to the contrary, was a victory for us all. Ouor system was disigned to do just what happened - if one branch of the govt. goes too far in one direction, the others will reign it in. My only suggestion is that this time we do not go back to sleep and allow something else to happen while we are dreaming. "It can't happen here," is only true for those who are awake. We sure haven't been. The only way to prevent this from recurring is for us to keep an eye on those in Washington.

this is humorous! Do you do stand-up? As for the "god subculture" (Christians), they're no distinctive, no smarter or dumber than the atheists. the two bash one yet another with their evaluations yet in no way easily say something sensible. As for the election, Woodrow Wilson reminded us in his e book, "the hot Freedom," (1913) that the firms run each little thing. He wrote here: “on account that I entered politics, I easily have principally had adult males’s perspectives confided to me privately. particularly some the biggest adult males contained in u . s ., interior the sphere of commerce and manufacture, are terrified of somebody, are terrified of something. They comprehend that there is a ability someplace so prepared, so subtle, so watchful, so interlocked, so complete, so pervasive, that they had extra suitable no longer communicate above their breath while they communicate in condemnation of it. They comprehend that u . s . isn't a place of which it somewhat is asserted, because it was, that a guy would % his own calling and pursue it in order that far as his skills enable him to pursue it; because of the fact immediately, if he enters particular fields, there are agencies which will use potential against him which will ward off his build up a business enterprise which they do no longer % to have equipped up; agencies which will see to it that the floor is decrease from decrease than him and the markets close against him. For if he starts off to sell to particular retail sellers, to any retail sellers, the monopoly will refuse to sell to those sellers, and those sellers, afraid, won't purchase the hot guy’s wares” ...

I can finally see that there is hope for a better future. At least now there will be a better balance and a chance to say NO instead of all these followers allowing Bush to do anything he wants to.

No. The voting population has largely been manipulated by the main stream media. This country does not need a legislature loaded down with tax and spend Democrats.

No. It has shown me that the American people take their freedoms very lightly. We have shown our enemies that we will not fight them. The only question now is how many Americans will die in the inevitable terrorists attacks to come...
