Probably, they are chicken sh-its and want to embarrass the Republicans in any way possible. They have no feelings of pride in themselves or in their country. They are just arrogant lib nuts that talk the talk and have every intention of keeping the poor in their place while praising themselves for helping. I am praying they prove me wrong this time, but history repeats itself and they caused Vietnam to be the greatest embarrassment and mistake in US history. I am so disappointed in the American People - we have the best economy in tens of years and they said that was no 1 issue and then they voted for sweeping change because they were too stupid to realize that their no 1 want was in such good shape. Just voted off the cuff on rhetoric. Very disappointing people. Again, I hope it does not turn out to be stupid.

The President is still the commander in chief of the amed forces, and he directs where they stay or where they go. The congress pays for whatever he does, and so they can light a fire under his feet to make it extremely uncomfortable to keep doing what they do not want to happen. This next year aught to be fun to watch.

It'll be interesting to see if the Democrats will finally admit what our troops have been telling us for a long time...we're winning over there...we've yet to lose a military engagement in Iraq

They have already said they will cut the funding and "redeploy" the troops. It will be like the killing fields of Cambodia when we left vietnam, but the mainstream press will not cover it so the dems will not look bad.

Sure they will and they will announce the date so that our enemies will know and then they will raise taxes, cut military spending and then will act all surprised when we are attacked again and again. Go buy your prayer rug. I have to go track down a burka.

Only if the Dems are stupider than even they seem.

They will pull them out eventually. You see the thing about democrats is they do what they say they will (ie. Clinton). They say they will withdrawl them slowly, i believe them!
