From and including: Tuesday, 21 February 1984
To, but not including : Wednesday, 8 November 2006

It is 8296 days from the start date to the end date, but not including the end date

Or 22 years, 8 months, 18 days excluding the end date.

To calculate the difference between two dates (after 400ac, when the calender was changed):
d1= (365.25 x Y1) + (30.6 x M1) + D1
d2 =(365.25 x Y2) + (30.6 x M2) + D2
difference: abs (d1-d2)
