In this modern day and age, boundaries are blurred. Demarcating and distinguishing different relationships with different people become more and more difficult.
Certainly, you might say that some forms of body language are exclusive only to couples or to those who have something going on between them, [whatever that is]. Does kissing/holding hands/etc a clear indicator that there is something aside from friendship? Why so? Where do you demarcate 'friends only' from 'more than friends'? (or worse, not friends at all.)
